It’s easier to be carefree,
Than drown in all your worries,
Try to breathe a little happiness,
We ain’t in no hurry,
But we all make mistakes, cause heartbreaks,
I got too close to you and I paid the price I wont do it twice,
I scarred you from afar,
And you ain’t coming back,
A lonely fantasy,

A shining falling star,
Fading into emptiness,
A fantasy of its escape,

I've decided to upload all of my song lyrics onto deviantART so i can be sure they are safe under copyright, and no-one will steal them!
But I also thought it would be nice to let you all read the lyrics to my songs.
I wrote this when I was 17/18 in the summer before I started university. I was feeling pretty down, my part-time job at Sainsbury's and my incredible lack of a social life meant I spent a lot of time that summer indoors, doing very little. I did however climb a Mountain (Snowdon) that summer. This song, much like a mountain, took a while to finish, I had a great sense of accomplishment once I finished it. It's the first song I've ever written, and a landmark for me because songwriting is something I never knew I had in me, and It's still one of my favourite piece's.
